Touched Twice United
Meet the Board

Perry L. Polnaszek - Founder
Perry had a vision for Touched Twice United after a medical mission trip to Honduras. Perry is trained as an optician and had spent many years as a business coach for eye doctors. In 1996 Perry led the first medical clinic in Louisville Kentucky. Perry was able to learn and grow in his leadership while attending Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he met Andrea. He believed the foreign mission trip model could be employed successfully in the US, allowing professionals to use their talents quarterly and serving the under-insured in the America. In 2006 Perry founded Fellowship Church in Chippewa Falls. He is the proud father of 7 children.

ScottScott Beierwaltes
is currently serving as President of the Touched Twice United (TTU) Board of Directors. He first was introduced to the TTU clinic concept by volunteering at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisle, IL. After serving as an advocate at their first clinic, Scott was overwhelmed by the experience and asked to speak to the congregation the following Sunday about his thoughts on the clinic and "getting off the sidelines." His interest in the clinic grew over the following year as Trinity hosted their 2nd event. That interest and a flood of new ideas drove Scott to contact TTU to share his thoughts. After a few brainstorming conversations, Scott was invited to the annual TTU board meeting where he ultimately volunteered to serve as Board President.

This commitment comes at a busy time in Scott’s life, as he is fortunate to also serve as CEO for Air Cycle Corporation, headquartered in Broadview, IL. Air Cycle is the manufacturer of the award winning Bulb Eater® lamp crushing system and offers recycling services nationally for lamps, ballasts, batteries, and electronic wastes.

Scott and his wife, Katie, recently moved to Denver, NC with their children Emma and Jack. Scott loves sports and spending time with his family exploring their new area. As a family they are looking forward to finding a home church and hopefully hosting the first TTU clinic in North Carolina!

AndrewAndrew Follett
I participated in my first clinic in the Fall of 2006 in Naperville, IL. I was amazed by the power the clinics had to connect the church to the community and reach out to people typically overlooked by society. It also is a great opportunity for the entire church to come together and learn what it looks like to serve as one body. I joined the board of TTU in January of 2007 and have since been helping with the website and video production.
